Accreditation Regulations for games of the 2011 CEV Volleyball European Championship in Austria and the Czech Republic

  • During the games/different phases of the 2011 CEV Volleyball European Championship only accredited journalists will be granted access to the Press Centre and all other areas reserved for the media. The number of accreditations is limited for each game/phase of the event.
  • Accreditations are only valid for the selected phases (pool phase, play-off/quarter finals/ semi-finals and final).
  • Applicants must complete the accreditation form and provide all required information online at http://ev2011.accreditsw.com/acrequest.aspx
  • The accreditation form must include a specification whether the accreditation is for a journalist, photographer or TV representative.
  • The accreditation must include the official contact information of the medium/ editor-in-chief so that the OC of the 2011 CEV Volleyball European Championship and the CEV Press Officer have the possibility to verify the given information.
  • Journalists have to show a valid press card to be eligible for accreditation.
  • Accredited journalists (medium/editor) have the obligation to use the official name of the event in their news and reports and to respect the official partners of the 2011 CEV Volleyball European Championship. If this provision is disregarded, the CEV and the OC reserve the right to withdraw the accreditation.
  • During the event accredited media representatives have to carry their accreditation card all the time. Access to the areas reserved for the media will be denied without this card.
  • Photographers will receive a special vest on site (deposit of 50 €), which is the exclusive pre-condition for having access to the positions specifically reserved for all photo reporters.
  • Every photographer must wear this identifying vest.
  • The accredited journalists have to respect the obligation to conduct all interviews with players and coaching staff only in the mixed zone or in the area designated by the Press Director of the event.
  • The OC of the 2011 CEV Volleyball European Championship - in cooperation with the CEV Press Officer - reserves the right to refuse accreditation to the event.
  • All accreditation requests have to be made by August 9,2011 at the latest.
  • After counterchecking all inquiries with the CEV Press Officer, the OC of the 2011 CEV Volleyball European Championship will dispatch a final and comprehensive list of all accredited media at least 10 days before the start of the event.
  • The accreditation card must not be passed on to a person other than the person indicated on the accreditation form. Any abuse along these lines will result in the withdrawal of the accreditation.
  • In case of loss or theft of the accreditation card an official report of loss/theft has to be filed. The accreditation card can only be replaced if the person in question can produce the official notice of loss/theft and pays 100€ handling fee.
  • Any access to the 4 venues of the Championship with filming devices is strictly forbidden to the non-rights-holders. All media companies interested in accessing the respective areas with their TV cameras are requested to contact the rights-holder of the EuroVolley 2011, Infront Sports & Media, to clarify their rights and get a corresponding accreditation. Non-rights-holders will be allowed to film exclusively in the press conference room and NOT in the mixed zone unless an agreement has been previously concluded with Infront. All requests are to be submitted exclusively via e-mail to Mr. Simone Tomassetti.
  • All media representatives are urged to register within the set deadline. No last-minute inquiries will be accepted by the local Organizing Committee and by the CEV; the online registration system will be automatically blocked, thus avoiding any attempt to register beyond the officially set deadline. The Organizing Committee of the 2011 CEV Volleyball European Championship and the CEV are free to reject also any written inquiry or demand eventually submitted via e-mail once the originally set deadline is expired
